Reliability & observability

You find out before your customers do.

The problem

What usually brings people here.

You find out about outages from customers. The dashboards are green because they measure whether the servers are up, not whether a person can complete a checkout, and the alert that would have caught it was turned off for being noisy.

What we do

How the work actually runs.

We instrument the user journey rather than the host: can the thing people pay for be done right now. Service levels get written down with the business, alerts map to those, and anything that pages a human has to be actionable or it gets deleted. You get runbooks written by the people who were on the incident.

How this runs

Design, develop, refine.

01

Design

Two to four weeks. We scope with the engineers who will build it, so the estimate comes from the people held to it.

02

Develop

Two-week increments, demoed to you, shipped behind flags. You see working software in week three, not a status deck.

03

Refine

The squad stays. Lead time comes down, the backlog gets shorter, and the same people know why every decision was made.

Proof lives on the work page.

We publish numbers per engagement, cleared by that client, rather than per service line. What is written up there is what we are allowed to show.

Tell us what you are trying to ship.

You will get a reply from an engineer, not a form handler. If we are not the right firm for it, we will say so and tell you who is.
