Join a squad, not a bench.
We hire people to stay on one platform for years rather than to be moved between accounts each quarter. That shapes who this suits and who it does not.
What it is like
Three things worth knowing first.
You stay on the thing you built
Engineers are not rotated off a platform the month it gets stable. Most of the work here is long running, and the people who scoped a system are usually still the ones improving it two years later.
Your name is on the proposal
Clients are told who is doing the work before they sign. That is a commitment to them and a form of credit for you.
Two offices, one team
Work is organised around a shared timezone window rather than around which office someone sits in. Reviews, demos and retros include everybody on the squad.
Process
Four steps, and no take-home that eats your weekend.
- 01
A conversation, not a screen
The first call is with an engineer, not a recruiter. You should be able to ask what the work is actually like and get an answer from someone doing it.
- 02
One technical session
A single session on a realistic problem, paired, with the tools you normally use. No take-home that eats a weekend, and no puzzle that has nothing to do with the job.
- 03
Meet the squad
You meet the people you would actually work with, because you are joining a team rather than a pool. They get a say and so do you.
- 04
A written offer with the detail in it
Scope, level, who you report to and what the first ninety days look like, in writing, before you are asked to decide.
Open roles
There is no vacancy list on this page yet.
When we are hiring for a named role it will be posted here with the level, the squad and the platform written into it. In the meantime, if the way we work sounds like how you would want to work, write to hello@infinite.dev and tell us what you have kept running.
Start a conversation
Tell us what you are trying to ship.
You will get a reply from an engineer, not a form handler. If we are not the right firm for it, we will say so and tell you who is.
