How the work actually runs.
The process below is the same on every engagement. It is deliberately unremarkable, because the value is in it being the same every month rather than in it being clever.
Practices
Six things that do not vary.
These are not negotiable per engagement. They are the reason a squad can be handed a platform it did not build and still ship in its third week.
A squad, not a ticket queue
Three to eight people who work only on your platform. They join your standups, they hold your board, and they are named in the proposal before you sign anything.
One backlog
We work from your backlog in your tool. A parallel tracker kept on our side is how two teams end up disagreeing about what shipped.
Trunk-based, behind flags
Short-lived branches, continuous integration, and a release that is a configuration change rather than an event. Long-lived branches are where integration risk accumulates unseen.
Instrument before you change
On an existing platform the first weeks go into measurement, not features. Changing code you cannot observe is how a six-week release cycle becomes a seven-week one.
Retros you receive
Every retrospective that reaches you includes what went wrong and what changed because of it. A retro that only travels upward when it is flattering has no diagnostic value.
Handover is designed in
Runbooks, architecture decision records and a documented on-call path exist from the start. The test is whether your team could take it tomorrow, not whether we promise they could later.
Cadence
What is in the calendar.
- Daily
- Standup on your calendar, in your timezone window.
- Every two weeks
- Demo of working software, then planning against your priorities.
- Every two weeks
- Retrospective, with the written output sent to you.
- Monthly
- Continuity report: lead time, release cadence, uptime, and what changed.
- Quarterly
- Architecture and roadmap review with your technical leadership.

Tell us what you are trying to ship.
You will get a reply from an engineer, not a form handler. If we are not the right firm for it, we will say so and tell you who is.
